Terms and Conditions for Trend Tiling Academy

Booking a Course

Once your booking is confirmed and a spot on your chosen course is secured, we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice and joining instructions. This will include details about the course, start dates, and accommodation assistance if needed.

If, for any reason, Trend Tiling Academy decides not to enroll a student or needs to cancel a previously accepted booking due to the discovery of new information that deems the course unsuitable, we will promptly inform you and issue a full refund of any payments made, unless the cancellation arises from non-compliance with our terms.

Please note:

All courses are conducted in English.
A reasonable level of physical fitness is required as tiling involves physical tasks.

If financing is arranged through our partners, you must adhere to their repayment terms. This agreement is directly between you and the finance provider.

Late payments may result in suspension of services until the balance is settled. Failure to comply with payment terms might necessitate involving a third party for debt collection.

Course Scheduling and Changes

Any request to reschedule a course must be submitted in writing and is subject to a £20 administration fee. Changes are permissible only if requested more than 14 days before the course start date. For courses booked within 14 days of their start, no changes are allowed due to logistical constraints.

Cancellation Policy

A cooling-off period of 14 days is available if you book more than 21 days in advance of the course start date. If you cancel during this period, a full refund will be provided, minus a £30 administration fee for short courses or £60 for longer courses. Cancellations made after the cooling-off period will not entitle you to a refund of the deposit, but you won’t be liable for the remaining balance.

Absences and Rescheduling

No refunds are provided for absences once a course has commenced. In cases of extreme weather or other exceptional circumstances preventing attendance, we may, at our discretion, offer a reschedule date. Proof of circumstances may be required.

Unacceptable Behavior

The consumption of alcohol or drugs on academy premises is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove any student behaving disruptively.

Force Majeure

Trend Tiling Academy is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our control, such as severe weather, strikes, or public transport disruptions.

Liability

Our liability for any claims arising from enrollment or participation in a course is limited to the fee paid for that course. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or other consequential damages.

Advice regarding career opportunities or qualifications is based on information available at the time and is subject to change. Completing a course does not guarantee employment or proficiency; it is the student’s responsibility to ensure they are competent to undertake any work.

General

Trend Tiling Academy reserves the right to modify course arrangements or refuse bookings at our discretion. Changes in qualification routes by awarding bodies may affect the course cost and duration, which you accept by enrolling.
